The Helium™ tripod is designed for maximum stability, portability and height adjustability. All parts are precision CNC manufactured from 6061 aluminum and produce exceptional rigidity at a relatively low weight. The Helium™ telescope mounting plate optionally accepts the Paramount MYT or the Paramount MX/MX+ mount (separate mounting plates are available for either or both models). Mounting plates for other mount models are planned. These features produce the ideal portable imaging platform that can be quickly setup, leveled and aligned with the celestial pole.
